These four VHS PAL tapes of ‘The Avengers: Movie Commemoration Special’ are in excellent condition, having been owned since new and properly looked after.

The tapes have not been played for nearly a decade but there were no problems the last time they were viewed (I no longer have a VHS player on which to test them).

Originally issued by Canal Plus/Kult T.V. as a limited edition box set in 1999, this is number 1,773 of 5,000.

Each tape contains three classic episodes of ‘The Avengers’ 1960s TV series featuring Honor Blackman, Diana Rigg and Linda Thorson. Not forgetting their companion,  inimitable Patrick MacNee!

Each episode has an introduction by Patrick Macnee (filmed in July, 1998). All the episodes are rated PG.

Tape one features Patrick Macnee and Honor Blackman in three black-and-white episodes - ‘Immortal Clay’, ‘School For Traitors’ and ‘Golden Eggs’.

Tape two features Patrick Macnee and Diana Rigg in three black-and-white episodes - ‘The Town Of No Return’, ‘What The Butler Saw’ and ‘Gravediggers’.

Tape three features Patrick Macnee and Diana Rigg in three colour episodes - ’The Fear Merchants’, ‘The see Through Man’ and ‘The Bird Who Knew Too Much’.

Tape four features Patrick Macnee and Linda Thorson in three colour episodes - ‘’Invasion Of The Earthmen“, ‘Killer’ and ‘All Done with Mirrors’.
