Offering for sale is a an original limited edition serigraph (silkscreen) print on woven paper by prolific Polish-Israeli artist, Zamy Steynovitz. This colorful piece depicting a long-haired woman with an accordion player complimented by the Eiffel Tower, the moon, a vase of colorful flowers and a white dove creates an illusion of movement and gaiety. With its saturated colors and strong lines, this bold Impressionist folk art composition will make a wonderful statement in any decor. 

The print is in excellent condition with no detectable flaws. Signed ‘Steynovitz’ and numbered 350/350 in black ink on the bottom edge of the print and professionally framed in black wood and protected with plexiglass. Certificate of Authorization on back with informative details. Artwork itself measures 16 1/4" x 12" and the frame is approximately 17 1/4" x13".

About:
Zamy Steynovitz was born in Liegnitz, Poland on January 15, 1951. As a child, he won a national art prize, just before he moved to Israel in 1957. Some of his works suggest the magic of Chagall brought they are brought alive again in the colors and style of the present generation. His subject-matter is strongly influenced by religious folklore and stories within the Jewish tradition but his compositions also reflect his favorite themes, like Paris, flowers, angels, and circuses. One of Israel’s most popular artists, he maintained studios both in New York and Tel Aviv. Widely exhibited, he was honored by Heads of State throughout the world. His works have been presented by President Jimmy Carter, Prime Minister Begin, Pope John Paul II, and the Dalai Lama.
