The ball has a bold signature by Chuck in black sharpie and he added his team number "#60" and "HOF '67" for the year of his Hall of Fame enshrinement. Also, Chuck also inscribed "Last 60 Minute Man" signifying his unique status as the last player to play a full NFL game (playing on both offense and defense.) The ball has a COA from Sun Rays, Inc. verifying the authenticity of the football. As an older ball, it no longer appears to hold air.  However, the ball has maintained its shape, as can seen in the photos. Chuck Bednarik was a former star offensive center and defensive linebacker who was the last NFL "two-way" player to play a full game in the NFL Chuck played his entire career with the Philadelphia Eagles from 1949 to 1962. Chuck was a 10-time First Team All-Pro, an 8-time Pro Bowl selection and he won two NFL Championships. He was nicknamed "Concrete Charlie" due to being recognized as one of the toughest and hard hitting players in the history of the NFL. Chuck is a member of the both the College Football and Pro Football Halls of Fame. Chuck passed away in 2015 at the age of 89. This rare football would be a unique tribute to one of the great players of all-time. It would also be a great gift for any Eagles or anyone who loves the history of the NFL.
