An exceptionally nice and good quality, fully working gents silver fusee pocket watch and chain which will date by the London hallmarks to circa 1881.

The excellent quality and nicely jewelled Chain Driven Fusee Lever movement with bright gold gilding has just been serviced.       It is running well in all positions and keeping good time for a 130+ year old antique pocket watch.   Winding and hand set by a key in the centre of the hands both function well and there is a key included.

The beautiful condition large heavy solid silver engraved case which  measures 54mm diameter approx and has been cleaned and polished.   It has good strong unstressed hinges and all the covers close well with the rear cover opening easily for winding.

It has a clean undamaged white ceramic dial with black Roman numerals and a smaller seconds dial.   Blued steel hands and an original crystal glass all add the super quality and originallity of the watch.   The attached chain and Vesta box are both marked for silver but not the hook.   The chain measures 350mm when laid out straight.

An excellent condition antique silver pocket watch seldom available in this condition and good working order.
