The Bunker Hill and Sullivan Mill is a well-known historically significant location situated in Kellogg, Idaho, United States. Its origin dates back to the late 19th century when it was established out of the region's thriving mining industry. Notably, the mill was a major producer of lead and zinc during the World Wars, contributing significantly to the US war efforts. Located in the Silver Valley, part of the wider Coeur d'Alene Mining District, the mill was at the center of one of the most productive silver mining areas in the United States. Unfortunately, extensive mining and smelting activities led to widespread environmental contamination in the area, now a part of a designated Superfund site that necessitates large-scale environmental clean-up.
