This is a stunning and rare antique oak joint stool / lamp stand / occasional table as it has a rare BURR oak top which has exsuisite grain. It is fantastic quality and has been made out of solid oak. The oak itself is a wonderful rich color.  The joint stool is circa 1890 / 1900.

The top has some genuinely wonderful  grain due to it being made from BURR oak which is a rare feature. The top has been nicely shaped to the edge and is pegged to the base. It has a lovely simple freeze below the top to all four sides. Then as you move down the stool the legs are superbly turned and are a nice design, which sets it off beautifully. The stool has pegged joints as would be expected of an antique stool.

This stool could quite happily sit in the center of a room as all side are superb. To demonstrate this we have photographed all sides of the table. This stool could equally be used as an occasional table or lamp stand.

The approximate MAXIMUM dimensions are:
- 18 inches (46 cm) wide.
- 10 3/4 inches (27.5 cm) deep across top and  14 inches (35.5 cm) deep across legs
- 20 inches (51 cm) high.

CONDITION: The stool is in lovely condition, as can be seen from the photographs, just minor marks commensurate with age and careful use there are some cracks , chips and unevenness to the top but this is part of it being made from BURR oak. Please study photographs carefully as they form part of the description and condition, as what you view is exactly what you will receive.

Overall this is a wonderful joint stool, and it would make a superb addition to any home, so happy bidding.
