1951 Press Photo Ducks swimming in parts of unfrozen Juneau Park Lagoon

This is an original press photo. Didn't occur to most people, but the ducks that call the Juneau Park Lagoon home are having fun going swimming these days. Air forced through perforations in pipes laid on the bottom of the lagoon keep 60 - 120 feet of water free of ice. Photo measures 10.5 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 11-06-1951.
