A useful batch of 24x unused, British army BRASS SPLIT RINGS. These 12mm rings would have been attached to the shank of bachelor buttons (ie-buttons that didn't need sewing) to hold them in place. These were commonly worn on denim Battledress Blouses ('fatigues'), along with being worn behind buttons worn on Khaki Drill tunics of the army, navy and RAF. They are also to be found on Women's Land Army, and ATS overalls. These are ideal for collecting and/or living history, and as they are genuine ex-army surplus, it's nice to know you have the genuine article, correct for the WW1-WW2 eras. These rings are unissued, but are still very old, so as such they might have very slight surface dulling or discoloration. Otherwise - excellent condition for age.
