This is a vintage handmade figurine of a sandpiper carved out of silk oak wood signed by E.J. Ls. It measures 4.75” h x 6” long and sits on two metal legs. The eyes are made of a bead with a painted pupil. This one is undated.

This handcrafted piece is a wonderful example of American folk art and the wood has an amazing graining to it. Will look wonderful in nearly almost decor, especially Mid Century modern

Condition is good. No damage. Natural blemishes to the wood. New owner can polish if desired. I haven’t touched the surface.
