Los Angeles, California - Dread cancer is the villain spotlighted on this new flying-spot television microscope revealed at the Mount Sinai Hospital and Clinic in Los Angeles, California. Checking the device are its developers, the husband and wife team of Doctors Francis and Marianna Masin (white coats), with Doctor Kenneth Blinn (right), of the hospital, and David Douglas, of Biophysical Research Associates, builder of the instrument. Consisting of a high-powered microscope (right), topped by an electronic eye which transmits the pictures to the TV screen, the device is intended to aid quicker and more accurate diagnosis of malignant cells in the body.
