About the author
Born in 1957, from Akita Prefecture, kendo teacher 8th dan. After graduating from Honjo High School in Akita Prefecture, he went on to Nippon Sport Science University, and after graduating, he worked as an assistant at Nippon Sport Science University before moving to International Budo University. As a player, he has been active in the National Teachers Tournament and the All Japan East-West Tournament. He has been the director of the women's kendo club and the men's kendo club at International Budo University, and is currently the head of the kendo club.
