The Heimskringla:  A History of The Norse Kings   by Snorre Sturleson.  Translated from the Icelandic to English by Samuel Laing and with revised notes by Rasmus B. Anderson.  This is a  3 volume set numbered and limited edition set  (37 out of 650 printed) published by The Norrœna Society in 1906.  The set is labelled as a Viking edition from their The History and Romance of Northern Europe series from their Library of Supreme Classics printed in complete form.  8vo with dark green boards, paste-down title blocks on the spines, top edge gilt, heavily deckled outer and bottom edges, color frontispieces and a few additional color and black & white  photogravures in the text (all tissue protected), 1070 pages including the Index at the end ov Volume III. This is a matched set in very good condition. Tect is clean and unmarked, bindings are tight, and covers have just a touch of edge and corner wear. Not ex-library copies.
