Up for auction is a sperm oil bottle from Bar Harbor, Maine.

I got a few of these bottles that came out of a Maine pharmacy that closed years ago.

It is a little less than half full as seen.

The top screw on cap is rusty as seen.

I have never opened it and I do not know what it was used for. Maybe sewing machines or just for a lubricant.
