SS Pachaug Victory: Offered is a WW II Memorial Ship cover pictorially

postmarked July 19, 2018 at Sacramento, CA. This 455' merchant cargo vessel

was one of a large group of Victory Ships named for American Cities.

This ship was launched on Oct 13, 1944 by Beth-Faifield Shipyard Inc. in Baltimore, MD.

and named for Pachaug, CT. This proud new ship transported vital

supplies to US and Allied Forces during WW II. See her web page listings for the details

#9964 USCS. Cover franked with a forever flag stamp  and a 3 cent Merchant Marine stamp # 939 from 1946.
