A rare example of a Kinkozan pottery plate, made in Japan during the Meiji era. It has an interesting decoration, a nighttime scene with bats flying under the moon over fauna.

It's 23cm in diameter, there is an old staple repair and two small hairlines. It is sturdy and looks great on display. A fascinating piece of Japanese history.
