MENDELSSOHN'S OCTET OP.20 - A unique opportunity to listen to the differences between vinyl cut at 33 1/3 rpm, 45 rpm and half speed mastering, using Mendelssohn's wonderful music. The orchestra also plays 'two guitars' by Ivan Vasiliev, which allows you to compare valve and transistor microphones and stereo vs binaural mic techniques. We have even cut a track sourced from our 1/2" Studer A820 running at 30 ips, so you may contrast analogue vs digital!
Sides 1 to 3 were recorded at 24 bit/192 kHz using a spaced pair of AKG C12 Omni Mics.

All MCRU's EBAY orders are sent using royal mail, or DPD local couriers. We accept full responsibility if items are lost in transit and will dispatch replacements if a problem occurs. We try to be fair and realistic with postal times and charges and do respectfully request that customers are realistic with their expectations on delivery times.
Everything we sell can be returned within 14 days under the distance selling regulations, we do not refund postage there or back as we would hope problems can be resolved prior to the item being returned, please feel free to contact us prior to returning anything so we can try to resolve any issues you may have.
