Standing on stage with only one acoustic guitar and no clothes on his back, Naotaro Moriyama is a storyteller with only a guitar and singing. The act of storytelling with only a guitar and singing is the most graceful, precious, and beautiful way of expression. It would not be an exaggeration to say that it is the origin of musical expression in a sense. Every year, eminent talents gather at the Ryogoku Kokugikan, the sacred site of the festival, to compete in a single acoustic guitar performance. The "J-WAVE TOKYO GUITAR JAMBOREE 2022 supported by Okumura-gumi" held on March 5-6 this year featured a total of 20 artists, including Tomoyasu Hotei, Masayoshi Yamazaki, Naotaro Moriyama, and Pistol Takehara.
