Signed in autograph book by World Chief Guide Olave St Clair Baden-Powell

 

An Original Signed  inscribed  note by World Chief Guide Olave St Clair Baden-Powell. The note  is dated 1967. The note is inside an autograph book. The note discusses her praise to the Indian cubs (scouts).  Olave St Clair Baden-Powell, Baroness Baden-Powell 1889-1977 was the first Chief Guide for Britain and the wife of Robert Baden-Powell, 1st Baron Baden-Powell, the founder of Scouting and co-founder of Girl Guides. She outlived her husband, who was 32 years her senior, by over 35 years. She was elected World Chief Guide in 1930. As well as making a major contribution to the development of the Guide/Girl Scout movements, she visited 111 countries during her life, attending Jamborees and national Guide and Scout associations. In 1932, she was created a Dame Grand Cross of the Order of the British Empire by King George V. Lady Baden-Powell became Chief Guide for Britain in 1918.

Size of the autograph book is 10 ½ x 7 ½ cm approx.

Signed on the first page.  The rest of the pages are blank. Some of the blank pages have stains and damage.

This sometimes results in the customs not repacking the book, and even not sealing the  packing in the envelope. These are matters not in my control. And the buyer should be willing to accept this in case it may happen.

In case you were not at home when the product was delivered and the slot in the letterbox was too small to get the package inside, the package will normally be returned to the nearest post office. The postman would have left a note in the letterbox stating that the package is in the post office. It is expected that you would pick up the package within 3 days. If you did not collect it during this time it is returned to the seller.

If this item is returned to the seller because the buyer was not available when the parcel was sent to him, the buyer will have to bear the full cost of reshipping the item. If the item is sent back to the seller because the buyer did not collect the item when it was sent to him, and during the return passage of this item, if the item is lost during the return passage to the seller, the buyer is responsible for this as he did not collect his parcel when it was sent to him. It is the buyer’s responsibility to be available when the parcel reaches him or to collect his parcel from his local post office without delay if he was not available when the parcel was sent to him.

Normally the postal receipt will give the name of the person, city name, and Pin code and name of the country.
