Nikon EM film camera,
Series E 1.8/50mm lens,
case
Purchased at a recent camera club swap meeting, this is a classic camera made between 1979-1982 and much loved by Nikon fans, Cocked and fired in all three positions (B, M90 and AUTO), I inserted two A76/LR44 batteries (supplied) and I could get a response from the light meter and viewfinder needle – so the circuit seems intact. Camera is in Good to Very Good condition, has a few chips, serial no is 7657131. Comes with a firm old style leather camera case and two Nikon straps. (3623/Woolies3)
Around the rim of the lens is printed `”Nikon LENS SERIES E 50mm 1:1.8 3324905 (serial no). Short pancake type lens, of the later silver version, internally clean, f/1.8-/f22, aperture blades move smoothly, all dials turn smoothly, no caps.

Once again these attract considerable prices
At the casualphotophile entry Josh Solomon reviews this lens with example pictures. He concludes
At a time when film photography is becoming more glamorous and pricey, a humble, high-quality lens like this is worth a lot.
Ken Rockwell also reviews this lens – and states
With this lens and almost any 35mm or digital Nikon, it could be the only lens you'll ever need: sharp, light, fast, and devoid of distortion.

I can post this camera, lens, case and straps around Australia in an eBay satchel for $12.00, or it can be picked up in
Norman Park, Brisbane. eBay direct or cash on pick up is my preferred payment method.
