***Sotheby's Catalogue Tales of Beedle the Bard translated from the Original Runes***
Book: VGC, unmarked, spine uncracked.
After completing book 7 of the Harry Potter series Joanne Rowling revealed she had penned another book.
"The Tales of Beedle the Bard"
Hand written and illustrated, only 7 copies were produced, 6 were given to people close to her.
Sotheby's auctioned the 7th book on 13th December 2007.
Presale estimates were in the region of 30 to 50,000. It actually sold for almost 2 million pounds and proceeds were given to children's charities.
Auction catalogues were given to prospective buyers on the day by Sotheby's.
The catalogue is rare and contains small extracts from the 7th book as well as photos and reproductions of hand written letters from J K Rowling
