This listing is for an antique woven textile tapestry of Rachel's Tomb in Israel that most likely dates to the 1920s.This measures 20.5" x 19". This may have been made by the Alliance School of Crafts in Jerusalem, but it is unmarked.

In the center is the Tomb of Rachel. On the top two corners are the two halves the 10 Commandments. On the bottom corners, in Hebrew, in reads "אם אשכחך ירושלם תשכח ימיני", which translated to English means "If I Forget Thee O Jerusalem, forget my right hand". On the middle sides is a Star of David (Magen David) and the word "Zion" in Hebrew "ציון". On the bottom, in the middle, it says in Hebrew "קבר רחל אמנו", which translated to English means "Tomb of Rachel - Our Mother".

This is in good condition with some unraveling along the edges and a couple places where the strings have snagged on something. This has been gently folded in fourths in the past.
