The screws should be inserted into the slot of the die and tightened. Additionally, it is advised to reverse the die stock every 1/4~1/2 turn to facilitate chip discharge from the chip hole. Applying suitable lubricating oil to the cutting edge of the die when tapping threads is also recommended for smooth operation.
