Marvin Harrison Jr. was just selected 4th overall as the first non-QB selected in the 2024 NFL draft, but since he hasn't signed his NFLPA licensing agreement yet, you'll have a tough time finding his memorabilia until further notice. So what a great time to talk about the 19th pick in the 1996 NFL draft: his pappy, Marvin Harrison Sr.!
The elder Harrison quietly became one of the greatest wide receivers ever, averaging 103 catches for 1,402 yards and 12.6 TD's per season during an elite 8-year stretch from 1999-2006, setting the single-season receptions record, winning a Super Bowl, and making 1st or 2nd Team All-Pro in all 8 of those seasons.
This is a unique bundle of his artifacts to tide you over until you can start hoarding Jr.'s stuff:
- The only 2 Starting Lineups made of Sr. (1997 and '99 Extended) in near-mint condition or better.
- A 2006 Reebok replica jersey, made of 100% lightweight polyester mesh with screen-printed graphics on the front, back & sleeves; unworn with the original tag almost two decades later! We only have 2XL's, so if that doesn't fit you, feel free to frame it on the wall.
