Description A beautiful English antique solid sterling silver Albert pocket watch chain by the silversmith Herbert Bushell & Son Ltd (1911 - 1935) in lovely condition and with English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1922. Very nice quality with close graduating silver chain links and with a silver t-bar and a secure silver swivel/dog catch. Attached on the fob chain is a genuine antique Georgian 1816 solid silver coin fob and it weighs approx 33 grams.

Measurements Measures approx 11 inches (275mm) in length, with a further 1.25 inches on the fob chain.

Date English antique solid sterling silver with English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1922, (date letter "x") on the t-bar; the swivel/dog catch appears unmarked but is 100% guaranteed sterling silver and there are clear lion passant silver hallmarks on all of the chain links. The silversmiths initials on both ends are "H.B & S" (Herbert Bushell & Son Ltd- (1911 - 1935) and the attached Georgian 1816 sixpence is a genuine coin and also guaranteed silver.

Condition Lovely condition with no splits or solder repairs and with hardly any wear on the chain links, a very nice genuine antique example and the silver swivel/dog catch still works perfectly and closes securely and has a strong spring. Beautiful silver watch chain and a good weight.
