UK ring sz N / O

The gemstone is nicely polished and rich in colour with subtle banding that shows as you turn it in the light , the colour is a lovely orange  with white 

The gemstone measures approx 22 mm's x 18 mm's and is in a lovely setting , very much in an antique design,  It is approx 10 carats 

I believe this ring to be around the 1960's . It has makers initials but the first initiil is slightly rubbed and also impressed SIL . It tests as solid silver ( 925) by an XRF machine
