This is a nice example of a rise and fall copper and brass oil lamp from c. 1895. It is in good condition with only minor wear commencurate with its age and use to the metal. It is a Thermidor Belge model from Belgium and the burner wars made by Lux Way. The glass chimney is very clean and undamaged. The mechanism appears to be working well with all parts moving although I am no expert in servicing or use of oil lamps. The lamp measures 35 cm high also.
