This is an original Art Deco era modernist necklace in the style of Jakob Bengel. It dates from c. 1930 and was made in Czechoslovakia. It has opaque glass panels in contrasting black and pink with tod-like links forming the chain. It has a circumference of 40 cm and is i  very good condition for its age with only minor crazing or stress cracks to the glass (see photos). These do not detract from its great wearability, display potential or value but are mentioned for complete accuracy and may be as a result of the manufacturing process originally. This necklace would appeal to anyone interested in vintage Czech jewellery, modernism and the output of Bengel and others.
