This is a Collector’s Edition as part of Easton Press’ The 100 Greatest Books Ever Written.

This lovely Book is in fine condition.  Pages are clean and the Binding is unbroken so it has never been read.  The Decorative Red Boards are unmarked and Gilding shows only a light bit of rubbing along the foreedges.

As with all the luxurious Easton Press Books, this special volume is uniquely bound with Fine Leather in a rich Red Boards with Lettering and Decorations in 22 Karat Gold on both the Boards and Spines. The Spines also have traditional raised rings.

The Page Edges are gilded in 22-karat gold for both beauty and protection against dust and humidity.  Easton Press Books are also printed on archival-quality acid-neutral paper that is Smyth-sewn for strength and durability.  The Endpapers are made of Moire Fabric and there is a Silk Ribbon Page Marker bound into the Book.
