1999-P Delaware Statehood Quarter, Extra Fine Condition

 

Delaware was the first state quarter released, and was done so “on January 1, 1999 to celebrate Delaware, “The First State,” and featured Caesar Rodney, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and President of Delaware during most of the American Revolution.”

 

This is an excellent 25 year old coin for someone looking to help complete a statehood quarter collection.

 

It might also be someone from Delaware's 23^rd birthday or anniversary. This quarter could be a fit memento of the celebration.
