The wood is a beautiful brown. A nice patina has formed on the metal parts of the hangers. The hangers have good weight to them to hold the stockings on display. 

Very nice condition! The patina is visible in the photos. All pieces are solidly in tact.  Felt on the bottom is securely glued.
