This matching numbers United Kingdom Home Market MK1 1275 Cooper 'S' in Island Blue first registered 27th February 1967 was completely restored by Nippy Cars and finished in 2018, they had the engine rebuilt by Southam Mini & Metro Centre and the gearbox and differential by South West Transmissions fitting new laygear and 1st/2nd hub along with all shafts and bearings replaced including the differential.

During restoration it received a full floor, boot floor, wheel arches, inner wings, inner/outer A panels, front wings, front panel, door skins and drip rails. Painted in 2k, the underneath finished in Raptor and then Island Blue.
It had a new rear subframe which was powder coated along with the front subframe and all other suspension parts and original brackets which wasn’t replaced. A new steering rack and joints, front suspension top arms were stripped and new bearing and pins along with rebuilt exchange radius arms for the rear, New cupronickel hydrolastic pipes along with new fuel and brake lines, Rebuilt front hubs with new discs, flanges and callipers, CV joints and all rubber bushing and bump stops completed the suspension, new complete rear brake assemblies with all bearings replaced completed the running gear.

All new electrics throughout, rebuilt servo by Past Parts, new cooling system, all new bright work, rechromed where necessary, Interior trim by Newton Commercial.

Original wheels powder coated and fitted with Dunlop Aquajets, replacement windscreen and all door, window seals etc replaced

On completion of the restoration the odometer read 77,053, it has covered just over 200 miles since then.

It recently passed the MOT test on 12th March 2024.

It is in immaculate condition, I have owned the car since May 2020, never driving it if the roads were wet, the only reason for selling is I have recently moved house and downsized and need the space. I can possibly help to deliver the car if required.
