Bellamy’s Mint Imperials – Mini-Bag, PERFECT CONDITION Sealed sweets, 1970.

This is a wonderful find – in the form of a little cellophane bag of Mint Imperial sweets made by J Bellamy & Sons Ltd of Castleford, Yorks. Including the sealed seams at the top and bottom it measures 5” long and 3” wide and it contains around two dozen (I cannot quite count them all as some are in part of the bag that is coloured purple) Mint Imperials. The packet and the sweets are in perfect clean condition.

PLEASE NOTE that this item is just the packet of sweets. It does NOT INCLUDE the Box that appears in the last two pictures. This is being shown for REFERENCE ONLY. Both the box and the packet show the price as being 2½p and 6d. Which means that this particular packet must have been manufactured towards the end of 1970, in anticipation of Decimal-Day (February 15th 1971). Which makes the packet even more interesting than it would otherwise be, in my opinion!
