George Washington – in Private Life, c1910 colourful embossed Postcard.

This is a good example of a (very slightly over) 5½” x 3½” Postcard from the USA that dates from around 1910 or so. The front has the words George Washington – in Private Life and shows a wonderfully colourful design on which the outlines of Washington and his Wife are embossed. It was posted to an address in Ohio in February 1910. The publisher is not stated but it has the tiny printed words Washington Birthday Series No.1.
