Vintage - Sudbury Soil Improvement Kit, c1950s, complete including paperwork.

This is a good example of a Sudbury Soil Improvement Kit – which contains various chemicals that will tell you what’s wrong with your soil and how to correct it. It contains small glass bottles of Lime, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potash #6, and Potash #7. Also four little glass test tubes with corks. There are leaflets showing how to use it, a colour chart for the Potash test, and a fold-out leaflet showing other products that are available. Also, a little envelope that contains a pure Tin Stirring Rod that is vital the Phosphorus Test. It shows the details of Sudbury Laboratory – South Sudbury, Mass, USA. Also the UK address of Sudbury Technical Products Ltd of Capel House, New Broad Street, London. I can see that the bottle of Lime is not full (either partially used or evaporated) but everything else is complete. I have no idea if it is still useable – but if not I am assuming that it would be easy enough to replace the contents of the bottles. It makes an interesting display item.
