Product description Author biography (From "BOOK author introduction information") Shibata / Katsuya Born in Katsushika-ku, Tokyo in 1958. In 1987, completed the lacquer art course at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. In 2006, he opened “Komonma Koubou” in Toride City. In addition to holding exhibitions at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, Kogei Ima, Gallery Tanaka, and Gallery Okariya, as well as holding “Assistant Art Project” workshops, he is also a part-time lecturer at Musashino Art University, a lecturer at the Banyo Lacquer Crafts School, and Toride Shoyo High School in Ibaraki Prefecture.
