Description Stunning large heavy English antique solid sterling silver novelty mustard pot in the shape of a "beer barrel" in superb clean condition and with full English silver hallmarks for London 1913. Excellent quality and a nice big size, with a hinged silver lid and complete with its original removable blue glass liner. Comes with a good antique Irish sterling silver hallmarked mustard spoon, it weighs a heavy 141 grams (excluding liner) and there are no added personal inscriptions. Lovely uncommon item, looks hardly used. 

Measurements Measures approx 3.1 inches (78mm) in height (including thumb-piece) and is 2.8 inches (68mm) in diameter (excluding the scrolled handle).

Date English antique solid sterling silver with full English silver hallmarks for London 1913 (date letter "s"). Good clear readable silver marks on pot and lid and the silversmiths initials are "H & Co" (Hendeles & Co - 1913 - 1916). The silver mustard spoon is fully sterling silver hallmarked Dublin 1868. 
 
Condition Superb clean condition, with no faults at all, a stunning example, looks virtually unused and the original removable blue glass liner is the perfect tight fit and is undamaged. Fabulous novelty "beer barrel" design and has a very heavy silver weight and is free from personal engraved inscriptions. A very nice item.
