This is the famous (or notorious, if you like) CueCat barcode reader, brand new in a sealed box as it was sent out to WIRED subscribers in the year 2000. Own a piece of one of Internet's most expensive failures!

What is included: the CueCat reader (PS2 interface) with software and booklet, brand new in a sealed box. Please note that the database servers which linked the CueCat-readable codes to Internet URLs are no longer in operation. Nor is the desktop client (which needs a registration code) supported any longer. Most likely you won't be able to use this product as it was intended originally. This is sold as a collectible/curiosity item.
