Description A fine rare large English antique Art Nouveau/Arts & Crafts solid sterling silver jam spoon by the regarded silversmith George Lawrence Connell (1902 - 1932) in excellent clean condition and with full English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1925. Beautiful quality decorated in the Liberty "Cymric" style with ornate finial and with an attractive planished bowl. It weighs approx 29 grams and it is free from personal engraved inscriptions. Lovely scarce spoon. 

Measurements Big size, measures approx 6.5 inches (164mm) in length, the bowl measures 1.95 inches (49mm) x 1.65 inches (42mm).

Date English antique Arts & Crafts solid sterling silver with full English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1925 (date letter "A"). Good clear silver marks and the silversmiths initials are "G L C" (George Lawrence Connell - 1902 - 1932).
 
Condition Excellent clean condition, with no splits or repairs and no knocks or dents, a very nice large rare antique silver spoon by a leading silversmith and a great Arts & Crafts design. Good investment piece.
