Published in July, 1971, by DC Comics, this auction is for issue #92 of the Bronze Age Adventure/Horror anthology title, ‘House of Secrets.’

This impossible-to-obtain comic book is a Bronze Age Key Issue, as it features the very first appearance of DC Comics’ infamous character, the Swamp Thing. Over the past few years, this book has become the cornerstone of many Bronze Age comic book collections.

‘House of Secrets’ #92 has its cover art by Bernie Wrightson, and contains the following four stories within this 36 page, full-color comic: “Swamp Thing," with a script by Len Wein, and art by Berni Wrightson; “After I Die!", scripted by Jack Kirby and Mark Evanier, and art by Bill Draut; "It's Better to Give," scripted by Mary Skrenes (as "Virgil North"), with pencils by Alan Weiss, inks by Tony DeZuniga; and the final two-page tale, "Trick or Treat,” with art by Dick Dillin. Cover price $0.15.
