'The Adare Club was based in the town of Adare, South-West Co. Limerick. My research indicates that the club was in existence from circa.1928 to circa.1934.

In July, 1929, the club had 17 competition licence holders on its membership books. The president of the club was the Earl of Dunraven, who had his seat in Adare Manor. The competition secretary in 1929 was Mr. R. Kirkpatrick, Boulabally, Adare, Co. Limerick.

This medal was awarded for:-

medal for for the Adare Open Summer Trial held on Saturday, July 6, 1929. This was a 100-mile trial.

The premier award was won by R. W. Mulligan (498 AJS).

Six riders won first class awards, (no marks lost), - one of those was N. Cowper (494 Triumph).

Eight riders won second class awards.
