Presently, this album is a gem of a famous car, given to car-loving readers who have lived through the Showa period in their 40s, 60s, and 70s. The concept is "Looking back on the famous cars that ran through the Showa era". The base is "Showa's Great Cars Compilation Vol.1/Vol.2" published in 2020. Based on this, the number of new pages has been significantly increased, and the missing cars have been added. The text has also been restructured and the photographs have been enhanced.
Vol.1, published earlier, deals with famous cars that appeared from 1955 (1955) to 1980 (Showa 55), and the following Vol.2 is said to be the "golden Showa period", up to the Heisei era. There are many books about famous Showa cars, but this book contains detailed explanations of 111 cars from 1955 to 1980, which is unseen in other books. The main specifications of each vehicle are introduced in as much detail as possible, and many valuable photographs taken by Motor Magazine at the time were used to make them visually excellent. Another important point is that we made sure that there was enough space on the main car models, from 2 to 4 pages, so that the content would not be half-baked. In addition, as far as the page permits, we have also posted car models that have rarely been featured in the past.
