Vintage Japanese Legged Ozen Tray Table

Painted with a black lacquer base and red top surface, this short and stout vintage ozen tray table is a classic traditional piece made for serving food. It has two curved bracket legs.
Ozen are normally used by one person for a meal or an offering on a Buddhist altar (osonae-zen). It can also function as a decorative item or stand.

• Good condition considering age. Small red lacquer chip on to surface. The black lacquer is slightly faded on the outside edge. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos.
