Description - Splendid good quality Art Deco style thick heavy gauge solid silver cigarette/ cigar box of rectangular form with a hinged lid and thumb piece

lid has engine turned decoration plus a vacant cartouche

leather bound underside

cedar wood interior lining and an adjustable divider.

Fully hallmarked with anchor head for Birmingham assay, lion passant indicating 925 grade solid silver, date letter "Q" for the year 1940 and the maker's mark "S.B" which is Synyer & Beddoes (rubbed).

Condition - In very good condition, there are just a few small dints to the sides and lid (please inspect end photographs), there are no nasty dents

lid is strong and closed the lid securely

interior wood lining in excellent condition.
