2 pieces - ceramic - approximately 6" long x 3 1/2" wide - seller thinks it is a spoon rest - or stand for a cup containing liquid as it has raised bars and numerous holes to drain to bottom tray.  On top reads:  Professional Gourmet Chef-Ware with logo - Bottom reads:  Professional Gourmet Chef-Ware  Designed by Christopher Bigelow for Sigma the Tastesetter MCMLXXXIV (1974).  Never used - no tags - no box.  Has been stored a long time.
