- Scuffing to spine ends and binding edges with few small partials of spine ends lacking. Fading and staining to binding with markings.
- Volume 4 has fair amount of pen annotation to FEP and staining throughout pages.
- General light tanning and staining to edge of pages throughout few books.
- Some pages have light page hinge fragility but remain intact.
- Volume 4 first plate has few holes to centre.
Overall all 4 books are in a good clean order considering age.
