Double bill of 1980s fantasy teen comedies. 'Teen Wolf' (1985) stars Michael J Fox as Scott Howard, a small-town high school nerd who can't get his dream girl to take any notice of him, and is a loser on the basketball court. But when he discovers that he comes from a family of werewolves, and begins to get increasingly hairy, his luck seems to take a turn for the better: suddenly he is a basketball ace and everyone is interested in him - even his dream girl. After a while, however, Scott starts to wish things could just get back to normal... In the sequel, 'Teen Wolf Too' (1987), Jason Bateman plays Todd Howard, the cousin of the original Teen Wolf. After he finds out that he has the same genes and therefore the same lycanthropic tendencies as his relative, he uses them to charm his schoolmates, before reaching an existential crisis: do his friends love him for his personality - or his hairy body?
