The brightly Nickel Plated 19 jewel Adjusted movement is in good working order as it has just been serviced. It is running with a very healthy balance action in all positions for the last few days on test. Button winding and hand set both function smoothly and it is keeping very good time for an antique pocket watch.
The stunning and near mint condition Rolled Gold case measures 50 mm diameter approx. The gold plating is in fabulous condition as it is the heavier type being guaranteed to wear for 25 years from new and has polished up very well to look just like a gold watch. (very minor markes to the rear cover barely noticeable to the naked eye) All hinges are strong and unstressed with the covers closing well and the front cover springs opens easily when the winding button is pressed.
It has a very nice undamaged white ceramic dial with black Roman numerals and a smaller seconds dial. Original blued steel hands and clear crystal inner and outer glass all add to the quality and originallity of the watch.
