This battery mod allows for longer playtimes on IPS v2 modded GBAs. For reference, these batteries hold up to 900 mAh charge, whereas normal GBA batteries hold 600 mAh. They work extremely well on both modded and unmodded systems.
On IPS v2 modded GBAs, I get ~6 hours on the middle (5th) setting, and ~4.5 hours on the maximum (10th) setting.
Unmodified
OEM GBAs with OEM 600 mAh batteries last 7-10 hours, so I would estimate that
my 900 mAh batteries would work for at least 10.5-15 hours since the capacity
is 50% higher.
This battery is very easy to install! Just remove the battery cover with a Philips head screwdriver, drop the battery in, place the spacer on the back end of the battery, and play!
The included battery case can be used as a protective case for GBA cartridges as well. :)
Please note that not all GBAs or batteries are created equally. Hence why a spacer will be provided; it may or may not be needed depending on the shell of your GBA. Additionally, the PCB attached to the battery may or may not need to be filed down slightly in order to fit properly. That being said, each battery will be tested on both IPS v2-modded and regular OEM GBAs prior to shipping. Batteries will be shipped with LOW CHARGE to adhere to shipping regulations.

Returns/Exchanges
All items are guaranteed against being dead on arrival.If your item does not work upon arriving, or is otherwise not as described in this ad, then a refund will be issued up to 30 days of the ad closing. Exchanges may be done at my discretion up to 30 days of the ad closing; buyers will need to message me for further details as exchanges will be case specific. Refunds and exchanges will only be granted based upon this criteria. Buyers are required to pay for any return shipments. The cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund as well. Returned item(s) must be in original condition complete with all material.
