This item came into shop as a working PAL unit, We disassembled the unit and cleaned all the PCB boards inside, We applied NEW thermal paste to the GPU/CPU. We cleaned the fan blades. We converted this unit to CFW EVILNAT 4.90 , this is a PAL unit but with that being said the CFW mitigates any region codes for the games it plays all PS3 games NTSC or PAL. Video playback via disc drive may be the only issue I can think of and that would only be due to your television not sending a region code back to the PS3 for correct aspect ratio (for PAL) video playback is still there via hard drive.We have tested PS3 , PS2, PS1, and emulated games (via retroarch pre-installed) and all works regardless of region code.We can not provide instructions for certain capabilities of the CFW so please do some research on this topic.Please feel free to message us about this console at any time.
