Description of item for sale: This Louis XV style nightstand is from France and dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's. It is made of walnut with a medium finish and has a fitted marble top and marble liner. It has good fit and finish: the drawers and door open and close smoothly. It features lovely gentle carvings on 3 sides with a finished back. This cabinet is in good antique condition with only very minor chips and discolorations consistent with its age. There is indications of inactive woodworm on the back (see photos) and no dry rot whatsoever. The marble top has a repaired crack (see photos). As we do with all of our furniture, we finished it with a coat of antique grade paste wax that will maintain its beauty for years to come. Dimensions: 34" high, 16" wide and 14.5" deep. (DLT-0006)
